Immigration into Australia
Australia is ranked as one of the best nations in the world to live in, for many different reasons. Their working environment is first world, their unemployment rate is less than 4%, and their public services are extremely efficient. It is therefore the reason why many skilled migrants from around the world prefer to travel to Australia for employment and or permanent migration.
Being able to lawfully live in Australia, and having the right to work and/or study is quite simply based on having the correct visa to do so.
We are able to advise on what visa you would require as well as handling your entire application process with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) for Australian migration.
Regulations and eligibility requirements into Australia change at regular intervals. Knowing if you are still eligible at a given time can be quite a complicated process when you take into consideration various skills lists, work experience and qualifications. So in other words, if you are currently eligible for migration to Australia and meet their current requirements, you should start the application process as soon as possible.
To prepare an application to submit to DIAC can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on the pathway you choose. Once lodged with DIAC, in most instances any changes in the immigration policy will not affect your application.
Employer sponsored visa’s and study visa’s are generally the fastest ways to enter Australia, whereas general skilled migrant visas for Australia will take around 6 to 30 months for processing, depending on the visa subclass (please contact us for further information).
Levels of employment in Australia are different in each of the 8 states and territories and to obtain your visa you might need to consider where in Australia you would like to live as well as know where your skills are required and in demand.
